Begin with what you need to do
Paying for a supported store purchase and receiving cash to use elsewhere are different tasks. Do not compare two borrowing features as if they were interchangeable just because they appear in the same app. Check where the funds or spending facility can actually be used.
| Question | GLoan | GGives |
|---|---|---|
| Main use | Cash borrowing | Installment purchases at participating stores |
| Where to check | Borrow → GLoan | Borrow → GGives |
| Approval and terms | Check the current individual offer | Check the current individual offer and merchant support |
GCash’s help pages describe eligibility conditions for each feature and do not promise that every verified user receives an offer. This guide cannot see your account or confirm your available amount.
Compare only a usable option
If a feature cannot pay the intended merchant or does not provide the type of funds needed, an attractive-looking rate does not make it usable for that task. Confirm the permitted use before comparing payment totals. Do not rely on unofficial conversion or cash-out workarounds.
Then compare the schedule
Write down the transaction amount, deductions or other charges, installment amounts, payment dates and total repayment. Promotions may have conditions, and personal offers may differ. We do not reproduce a universal price range or recommend one feature as cheaper for everyone.
One offer is not evidence of another
Being shown one borrowing feature should not be treated as a promise that another feature will activate. Use the relevant dashboard and official help information for your account. If the result is unclear, ask GCash support; a third-party comparison site cannot override it.
Both options create payment obligations. This page explains the difference in use, not whether you should borrow or whether your application will be accepted.
