A worked example, without the calculator

A stated amount of ₱5,000 minus a ₱200 deduction gives ₱4,800 cash received. If scheduled repayments total ₱5,500 and there are no separate fees, the cost difference is ₱700. The deduction is already included through the lower cash received: do not add it twice.

What the payment split means

The tool divides the supplied repayment total into equal illustrative amounts, rounded down to centavos, with the remainder in the final payment. It does not calculate a lender’s schedule from an interest rate or assign due dates. Keep the actual schedule for repayment planning.

The BSP loan calculator explains EIR and the provider inputs needed. Our tool is a simpler arithmetic check and is not a substitute for the lender’s disclosure statement.
